Anyone know the ownership history of the Tony Delorenzo '67 L88 (Wayne Walker of ZIP and onward..........
I ask because the RM Auction site (Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix - Jan 07) is reporting the car as a NO SALE on a bid of $1,550,000 ( biderr's premiun included, I assume)
Loren I do know that Steve Henderson in Minnesota owed the car from at least 1989 to sometime in the late ninet'y or early two thousand. That car along with other were then sold and went to a man in California. I was talking to someone I know about corvettes in California and L88's came up. He told me that two 67's were just down the road in another body shop and both were being put into race condition. If you want some info you can email me. Dale
Just prior to W.Walker, at the Canada / N.Dakota border crossing, on its way to Bloomington 1983. Walker had it examined by someone else at Bloomington prior to completing the transaction.
