'66 Clutch push rod spacer finish

What was the original finish on the clutch push rod spacer? I'm guessing it wasn't zinc plated like the replacement I got from LIC.

    Rob------

I can't think of or find any spacer in the clutch pushrod system. If you're talking about the washer that goes on the clevis pin between the pushrod bracket and the pushrod and known as GM #3834560, that piece was originally phosphate-finished.
