Rear Spring, 67 SB car

I'm confused as to the correct rear spring in my 67 coupe, 327/350, M-21 equipped car. I lost Judging points due to having a seven leaf spring in the car. Thanks in advance, Al W.

Base suspension used a nine leaf spring. It's fairly well explained in the Judging Guide, available in the NCRS Store.

For many years, GM sold the 7 leaf spring as a SERVICE replacement for the original 9 leaf spring used for most 1964-74 Corvettes. So, that may be how it found it's way onto your car. Or, it may just be an incorrect aftermarket replacement.
