I have a 1965 Corvette with a correct LOF "SHADED SOFT-RAY" tinted windshield date approximately 1970. I feel this winshield is more correct than an reproduction OEM Glass replacement with the correct date code. The winshield that is currenty installed in the car has the correct shading at the top unlike the current EOM Glass replacements and I plan to keep the windshield inplace for judging.
My question is; The standard deduction for an incorrectly dated windshield per the 1965 Judging Guide is 15%, the windashield is worth 20 points for originality, would it be 10 points for the windshield logo and 10 points for the date code? If so, I would loose 15% (1.5 points) for the incorrect date code, correct or would it be 15% (3 points) deducted from the entire 20 originality points?
Thanks in advance.
