He's been selling so many 53-55 parts that I wonder 1) how many of the parts that came with this car have or are being sold thru ebay already, and 2) why he doesn't fix it up himself since he already has all the parts.

He's just interested in buying good rebuildable car, then He picks over their carcass until there is almost nothing is left, then tries to sell the remains to some poor enthusiastic Corvette lover, so he can then sell all the parts he removed at ridiculous prices...JMHO

Where's the rest of it? 241 head, exhaust & intake manifolds, carbs, valve cover, fuel pump, ignition shielding, shifter, side curtains, convertible top frame, seat frames & backs, wheelcovers, ........... There is a LOT missing for that money. Of course, it's considerably less of a project than my first Corvette ('54).

          #202 real car???

Lets see... No title... Non original Frame.... Only Vin plate. Old Registrations.... is the 911 oringinal? whats the stamp? I see no flippers for the top. The top snap stainless is later 54/55 style.

Claims will be worth $250K to $400K. Obviously BJ numbers. Nothing special about #202 to justify giant numbers, that I am aware of.

I have no reference to this one (have 170 on file) so it must have been off the road for a long long time. Be very careful on this one folks. Eric #3,182 Owner of #286

Lot's of work for a car that has as many issues. Granted '53s are rare, but could you ever put that back together and break even if you needed to sell?

Jay sold a red '54 or '55 last year on ebay, this is probably a donor car for some of his his other restorations.

Jay is not the only other person doing this, I was out bid on a part for my car on ebay, a few days later the winning bidder had dismantled the component and had it selling as three separate parts for triple what he paid for it. I hate to lose a part that is just bought to be resold... Ebay is turning into an internet chop shop. Oh well, glad I have most of what I need.

(The body will need some minor fiberglass repairs (see close up pictures), nothing too serious.)The floor area is missing the tunnel , the fire wall was hit by a truck (steering column area) NOT SERIOUS ??? Deck and trunk lids look to be later glass, Oh! Did they make red 53's (see no other color of white) behind the dash rail , to many parts missing to count, 80K is a give away price?????????? Frame!!! Lets get real!!

                  What year is the Frame?

I couldn't see if it had the notch for the V8 fuel pump or not, a dead giveaway in a 53-54 car.
