Well after rebuilding the motors, and the rotating switch. The problem was in the connector on the firewall. When your headlights rotate slowly and your switch gets hot, take my advise. Do the plugs first(there are two side by side) I did both. They were badly corroded, a car in southern Cal. from 1967 to 1971, since then Alb. N.M.
