There should be a small condensor or capacitor (whatever it is called) mounted to the side of the ignition coil on my small block 68.
Two questions:
Which side of the coli doe sthe little condensor get wired to ; + or - ?
What does this thing do , what is its purpose ?
I have one and am going to mount it but was curious to whihc side and why
Thank you,
Kurt

Here's a picture of it (sort of) on my 72's coil bracket.
Note that the carb is on the left, the power brake booster hose is in the center of the photo, and the capacitor is on the right, attached with a Phillips head screw.
My "guess" is that your 68 would be similar.
