    C2 SB Fan clutch....

Does anybody say what if any other applications there were of the C2 SB fan clutch (GM #3814137 or GM #3814560)?

    Thanks

    Jim-----

GM #3814137 had MANY other PRODUCTION and SERVICE applications during the 1962-67 period. It was used for many passenger car applications as well as Corvette. It was also SERVICE for earlier applications with fan clutch.

GM #3814560 was originally used only for some 63-67 Corvette small block applications.

Joe/Jim - FYI. The p/n 3814560 fan clutch was also used on 66 Chevelle sb V-8 engines (283/327) and probably the same Chevrolet car applications w/ C60 AIR CONDITIONING - COMPRESSOR, FAN, BELTS, & PULLEYS and K02 FAN DRIVE EQUIPMENT. Pete

Is the Eaton the 3814137 and the Schwitzer the 3814560....or visa-versa

              Pete-----

I can't find it listed for those applications. It may have been used in PRODUCTION for those applications, though. For SERVICE, anyway, the fan clutch originally cataloged for the applications you mentioned was the GM #3814137. The only application that I can find that the GM #3814560 was ever cataloged for SERVICE was the 1962-67 Corvette small block application.

GM #3814560 was discontinued in May, 1973 and replaced by the GM #3916141 which remains available.

The GM #3814137 was discontinued in January, 1968 and replaced by GM #3916139. The GM #3916139 was discontinued in January, 1974 and also replaced by the GM #3916141.
