    C2 carpet glue

After pulling the jack storage compartment cover in my SB '67, I noticed the carpet (which originally was glued to the fiberboard) has dried out and come loose in about 75% of the area. Otherwise, it's in perfect shape: fit, edges, no stains, etc.

I want to re-glue the carpet to the cover, and am wondering if there is a recommended glue and/or other technique for this? Or should I just ask my local carpet store what they use?

    Thanks

    Tom

    Re: C2 carpet glue

3M makes a spray contact glue....you should be able to pick it up local at FLAPS....no big deal. Stuff sprays on both surfaces...you let it set for about a minute...then press carpet to board. Cement has a yellow/brown color as original.
