    '60 PG Transmission

When I make turns, mainly to the left, the transmission slips for a couple of seconds. What causes this condition? I have owned the car since 1989 and never rebuilt the transmission. What is the fix for this condition.

Decided to drive the car to work this morning in Dallas, TX area; 32 degrees; clear and sunny. Heater worked great and it was nice to look at the temp. gage and see it not rise above 160 degrees.

Usually turning to the right causes that condition because the filter is located on the right ( filler tube area) and if the oil is low it can slip . Check you oil level.

Good idea. It has probably belched out enough since I checked it last that it needs to be topped off.
