    Soft/Hard Brake Pedal

This morning, I experienced a soft brake pedal and the brake light came on when I braked a couple of times. But, after a few minutes on the road and engine fully warmed up, the pedal firmed up and brakes appeared fine and normal. Could this be that the seals in the master cylinder on going and the heat of the engine compartment allowed them to swell enough to seal properly?

Pull the cover on your brake fluid reservoir add fluid as necessary,is it clean? Also run your finger in the botom of the resevoir. If the finger comes out dirty then you found the problem. All that crud on your finger has made its way into the seals,piston/plunger assy. causing sluggish braking, less pedal and a constant "brake light".grr#33570
