    62 Aluminum Powerglide

Does anyone know if the early 62 aluminum powerglides (car was built Nov. 16, 1961) had the plugs to install a transmission cooler & did they have the cooling holes in the bellhousing?
Thank You in advance for your help.

Yes, there were two small holes in the side of the case for cooling lines. For the Corvette application, plugs were installed. No, there were no large holes in the bellhousing. I believe those with air holes were light duty transmissions for chevy II models.
