69 alternator insulator

Which insulator would be correct for this early 69 style alternator, the red one on the left or the burgundy one on the right?

Burgandy has the correct configuration. The rubber boot goes over the edge.

I don't suppose you know where I could find the terminal bolt that goes through it now? The one I have has the end stripped on it, the ones for the later style alternators are totaly different and the ones for the external regulated ones look the same but are too short.

I'm guessing that this bolt will be as hard to find as the alternator was...

If you can find an alternator rebuilding shop that has been around for a while you might get lucky. Otherwise any internally regulated GM alternator, working or not, can be a parts donor. This is the wrong time of year for most of us to be prowling swap meets, but that is where I would look.
