    A nother clutch fan?

How do you know when the clutch fan needs rebuiling?

Most Chevrolet Service Manuals have instructions on how to test the functional operations.

Basically, if the fan continues to spin many times after engine sut down, it's time for a fan clutch rebuild or replacement. OR, if the engine is off and the fan can be easily rotated without much resistance, it's time for a fan clutch rebuild.
