That's interesting! Given the build number of 05188 it must have sat on a lot for some time. My 1967 has a build date of February 10, 1967 and it is 10,5xx.

Built in Dec., mostly base model I assume this was a stock showroom Corvette and Diane bought it from inventory.
Pollard Ravenscroft was not the biggest Chevy dealer in the Valley. If fact the dealer only existed for a very short time as Pollard Ravenscroft, Pollard might still be around.

Thanks Kevin. I don't have the numbers by month of build. I would have thought 05188 would have been earlier than December but that's pure speculation. Wish I had that kind of documentation for my 1967. I can only trace back to a used car dealer in Florida in 1986. Then to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and now with me in Canada.

That is from an old window sticker that may be a fake. I tried to trace that info on the dealership and came up with a blank.

Bill, That sounds about right. I just looked on a 1966 calendar and saw that my '67 was built on a Wednesday (December 21). I sold mine too last year. Regards, Jim
