I'm back. Just went to St. Louis to pick up the 56 I bought last weekend. Left Friday morning about 4:30 am and got to the car about 12:30 pm. Loaded it up and back on the road by 2:30 pm.
Spent the night in Cape Girardeau, MO. Had four margaritas with dinner, it was a long day.
Back up and on the road at 2:30 am Saturday. Got home about 8:30am.
Trip was uneventful, no disasters occurred. Car, parts, and future driver none the worse for wear.
E56S002117 is now home! This car seems to have a bunch of options originally. So far I have determined that it was an original Aztec Copper car with a beige interior. Originally a two four car, powerglide, heater, radio, parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, windshield washers, hard top, soft top, and hydraulic folding top.
Have not seen any evidence of power windows.
Every time I open a new compartment, or pull something out of the way, I find another stash of parts. This is the fun stuff. More later...
