    C1 1959

Would like suggestions on how to get the side rails on the softtop frame to straighten out completely. Thanks Tom

Loosen the small arm at the body braket. Push the side arm up into position and hold it. Tighten the braket bolt. That should do it inless the top cover is too tight.

            Tom
If you are talking about frame repair that article was written by Joe Calcagno in Volume14 issue 4 on page 13. If you are talking about the an adjustment, that article was written by Tom Crockatt in Volume 13 issue 2. However my scanner is down, let me know which one and if you haven't received it from someone else by tomorrow I will go to a friends and send it to you via e-mail.

              Re: C1 1959

Here is the article on repair. Mine seems to be having the opposite problem. One, or possibly both of the posts is bent downward, not upward. I'd go snap a picture of it, but my car is at a shop getting a new windshield put in right now.

Sorry, this pic is not very clear. It's not the scan though, it's the article itself which is not a very good copy. I'm going to attach a link to a PDF version also which may be better for printing. The link will show up right below this picture.

Thanks everyone. I will read the article. Also make sure you check your weather strip at the joints. Mine were binding and keeping the frame from straightening out. Tom
