Hi Everyone, Need some opinions on replacing the orginial rear wheel bearings on my 64, they seem fine, no noise, with an easy roll. Also, when they are replaced, how do you recommend it should be done. Thank you

Re: Rear Wheel Bearings
Since I have used their services, I recommend www.bairs.com. Check out on their web page their rear wheel bearing serivce. The will rebuild/recondition the complete control arm with with new bushings, paint, and service the wheel bearings and provide the boxes to ship in. Do this once, and it will most likely not need to be done again unless your 64 is on the road all the time accumulating some high mileage.- Top

Re: Rear Wheel Bearings
Hi Terry:
If you use Bairs, they will send you shipping cartons that are specially designed for trailing arms. Of course, this requires that you or a local shop first remove the trailing arms from the car.- Top
