What will be the route for the road trip? How does someone know where and when to jion the tour? I am considering taking my car which I have a chapter and regional top flight award for.Would I have enough time to clean it up before judging after driving that far? Thanks in advance Tom

Re: Road Tour Route??

The road tour routes for this year will be in the Driveline with the convention information. You will have time to clean your car before judging and a wash station on site will be provided. Have your car as clean as you want it before the road tour and do the best you can cleaning. It won't hurt to let the judges know you drove to the meet when they start judging as they may like it and not see some road dirt.

Re: road tour
I think there is a group leaving from Florida and going 2 days to Mike McCagh's farm. My road tour will start with dinner in the Speedeway Club at Lowe's Moter Speedway on Wed. Night Thursday is Blue Ridge Parkway Route arriving in VT on Sat night with the other road tours. You are welcome on either routeFounder - Carolinas Chapter NCRS- Top

Re: Road Tour Route??
You simply sign up for the road tour and 'check box' the leg you want to be on. Later, the leader of that segment of the road tour will contact you regarding where you should meet up with them. Some simply want to enjoy the fun of being in a caravan of classic Corvettes, others do the tour to satisfy the prerequisite for the Founders Award and that requires some 'computing' to insure they'll have the 500 mile minimum drive...- Top

Re: Road Tour Route??
Thanks to all that answered. I found the info in my driveline. It would be about 1500 miles for me, so I geuss I wouldn't have a problem with the mileage. Now if the wife can get the time off work I think it is a go. After all she is the bread winner these days, or so she thinks. Thanks again Tom- Top
