Re: Harrison radiator tag applications

Some information is provided in the P&A Catalogs for 1976 and later models in tables at the end of group 1 parts. However, all that the codes are related to in these tables is the SERVICE part number for the radiator which was used in PRODUCTION and identified by any particular code. Primarily, these tables were designed so that a service technician or owner could identify the radiator needing replacement via the 2 alpha character code found on the radiator and the parts department would, then, know what replacement radiator to order. Using this system, make or model application was unnecessary.
In order to "go further" in identifying a particular radiator broadcast code as to make and model application requires significant additional, "resource-intensive" research.
By the way, also keep in mind that the above-referenced tables are prepared for MODEL YEAR RANGES. The codes ARE REPEATED but, usually, they represent different applications when you go from one table to the next.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
