c2 wiper motor

my 65 wiper motor works with the engine running ,but sometimes it will take a while before it starts ,now with the engine off and the ignition switch in the accsy position, or the on position ,when i turn on the switch or push the washer button it will only click and wont work .any ideas !

Probably a gummed up mag switch inside or the mechanical workings of the parking function. Just take the face off and clean it with a good spray cleaner that is safe for electricals. It will probably go back to working.
