    63 Seat Belt Buckels

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know for sure if any of the 63 seat belt buckles were ever painted to match the interior? Knowing for sure would be of help to me.

      The belt buckles were not painted in '63.

              What would be the difference between a ID 8000-1-20 seat belt paddle and the ID 5000-1-20 paddle for a 63?

                  the 5000 series is for 1963 corvettes and I believe the 8000 series is for later midyear corvettes 1965-66.

                      My Mar64 has 8000.1.25 Just for reference.

                      Did your buckle have an ink stamp part number on it? Something like 127643!

                          Would a paddle for a the 5000.1.25 series belt fit an 8000.1.25
