i bought a 67 coupe built early july (within last 500 cars) and it has one wiper blade with "made in the USA" and one without, both Trico. could these be original? car has not been abused (2 owner). or should i replace to matching pair of made in the usa? i also need under the car exhaust. since carbon steel not avail, who has best/correct system for judging?

John - Yes on the wiper holders if we're looking at a pair of the 15" TRICO holders with the peaked shaped top, i.e inverted V, configuration. If that's the case, they are proably the originals. The "MADE IN USA" stamping on the TRICOs, as best we have been able to determine, began to appear on the holders in the early months of calendar year 1967, so on a car built that late in the year they would typically have the MADE IN USA stamping on the holders. I would not view the fact that one is stamped just TRICO which as you probably know is the earlier version as a problem from a production standpoint because it's probably more related to inventory control.
