Registry Updates from 40+ old files

A new old (40+) registry has been handed to me today. I've already entered a bit (1953) from it in the C1 Registry but please be on the watch out for more info (54 and 55 and maybe more) on previous owners and other small bits of history on the cars from this private registry:

You have 45 on your registry for 1955 but 22 having names after a 55
You have 300 on your registry for 1953 and 20 names for the 53
You have 158 on your registry for 1954 and 60 names for the 54
A total of 503 Corvettes list for 53 to 55 and 102 persons names listed owning a Corvette,my question is this _why list Corvettes that have no owner?? But I do appreciate what you've done. Thanks

Roy,

A lot of cars have been imported from other registries or sales lists (eg from ProTeam). Often in the comment list this is mentioned. It might give future/current owners a finger in the right direction to trace back the history of the cars. Sometimes doing a search at the appropriate DMV of the mentioned State can produce the owner, we can't do this our selfs (since we are not commercialized and have no financial backup). So alltough no owner is listed a comment field might help some people to find the desired past owner(s)...

Where does one register? I also feel like Roy about names of owners. Seems more friendly for such a small group of owners.

Karl,

If you create an account using the New Account button you can add a car using the Add Corvette button which will then appear (see also the help page by pressing the Help button.

PS Using MS Internet Explorer you need to press the buttons twice (this works better using Firefox).

After the data is entered on-line is it checked against the source document for transcription errors ?

This was only applicable to one car of which I notified the current registered owner. No response yet...
