Anyone ever dealt with 427 King from Ebay? He seems very nice, and knowledgeable....
Don't want to get into another situation where I am waiting for several months for a refund for not doing my homework on who to purchase parts from....
He's pretty proud of his stuff. I bought a BB dipstick from him he said was correct and original. Turns out it wasn't. Sent it back to him for exchange and never received or heard anything!
i discussed buying a "942" from him for serious money. when i started asking for details and specifics it was like he couldn't be bothered and i was just to hand him money and trust him. i then went with classic engine co. for blocks heads and more give Tom a call.
I bought a few things from him in the late 90s when he was in Morris,CT. His stuff is nice but pricey. You better make sure you ask EVERY detail about what you're buying because he won't offer anything up, such as if a block has been decked, sleeved, etc. I bought an L-71 shortblock and didn't ask about enough questions about the crank. It turned out to be a POS and was already .020 under.
