    C2 fan blade

Can anyone tell me if this is a honest to goodness big block fan? It is listed on e-bay as Item # 250086429592................Anybody? There is a reserve set and was wondering what if might be worth. TIA.....Joe

    Joe------

It looks to me like it could very well be a GM #3888366 which was used for many 1967-69 applications, including big blocks. The problem is that the 3888366 is very similar in general configuration to the GM #3770529 except for blade pitch. However, the one in the picture does look like it has the extra blade pitch of the 3888366.

Even if it is, though, I wouldn't "touch it with a 10 foot pole", especially for $300. For one thing, it's been chromed. For another, it's used. Chroming can weaken the steel and a used part is always a "crapshoot". I'd go with a reproduction which you can get for about $200 and is NEW rather than a piece like this one.
