Well I'm a little embaressed. I purchased several camshafts from Salee Chevrolet, there is no casting # on them, and I forgot what they apply to. I'm hoping they are correct for a 300hp 65 327. If anyone knows I would appreciate your input. The only markings on them are a green dot on the front end of the shaft, cwc next to the 2nd bearing, and a white stripe at the distributor end. Thanks in advance.

There's no casting number because these are later camshafts manufactured from a "generic" core. "CWC" is the division of Textron that makes camshaft cores for most all camshaft manufacturers, including those GM now uses for internal manufacturing.
Very likely, if these are the "take-out" camshafts that Sallee has been selling, then they are GM #14088839. This is the correct, current GM replacement camshaft for your engine application. It's virtually identical to the GM camshaft originally installed. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: camshaft
I inspected one of those 14088839 "Sallee camshafts" and found "8838", but I did not find any evidence of a manufacturer's ID that is called out on the drawing.
This camshaft is a replacement for the '67-up 3896929 camshaft and is a replacement for all base engine camshaft engines back to '57. There are minor differences in the lobe data, but the 929 and 839 are effectively within the production tolerance range of the other.
Remember that the order part number is an "assembly" of cam and index pin. The actual finished camshaft part number (or at least the as four digits) is cast into the blank, and the sequence is often only one apart and usually within 50.
