There are men in the picture? In suits?
      Best regards,

Sorry, missed the girl, temporarily blinded by the shine from the suit!

                    The 250,000 Corvette

I'm thinking that VIN was in Corvette News when the car was new.
And in 1992 I read that the car was in California, owned by someone who was going to restore it.

                      Bill,

A little note for your picture:

Time of day = Day Shift, Location = End of Final Trim Line

Special set up for photo ops. Car was finished prior to it coming off line then put back on Final Trim Line to run through and “exit on cue” you might say. This procedure has been done many times so that the vehicle looks the best and has no problems in front of dignitaries or press. You will notice the shine of the paint and the hubcaps are installed. If you were to see the interior there would be NO seat covers or other protection items that where normally installed.

The lovely lady was sitting on the paint with everyone smiling but let you sit on the paint – Hold Your Ears where you yelled.

Thought you would like to hear from a worker from the second shift who was not lucky enough to be there and drool.
