Saranac Lake Corvette

I purchased a 1966 roadster from a person in Saranac Lake NY this past winter. It is a fairly original, low option car. Somewhere along the line, the owner (she claimed to own the car since 1971) had the distributor replaced with a later model GM electronic ignition distributor. The carb and intake were also replaced with later model components. I asked the owner for the name of the shop that did the work but she had "selective amnesia" in this area. I was wondering if anyone in the Saranac Lake area might be familiar with this car or could give me info on repair shops in the area who might have done this type of work. It may be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but I'd like to find the parts. Additionally, I'd like to find out the name and phone number of a Chevy Dealer in the Saranac Lake or Potsdam NY area. Any help appreciated. Pat Donahoe #32462

The Potsdam,NY Chevy Dealer is Barstow Motors, 315-265-8803. I think the dealer in Saranac Lake is Davidson but I'm not sure. I expect that Jean in the parts dept at Barstows could confirm. Good luck
