Sounds Magnificent but how does it idle? Does it over heat? How's the performance while inching along California's Freeways? Is the air conditioning, cell phone, music system and television adequate? A refridgerator and dining table would help for I-5 traveling. Sleeping quarters?

A twelve second street machine would earn me more speeding tickets than I already get with the 13 second 1962! Even Montana has taken all the fun out of a new Corvette. Guess we'll have to ship it to Germany to enjoy those 200 mph trips to the grocery store!

GM still hasn't announced the price for the new RPO Z06 package. It wasn't part of the press release, but should be announced July 1. Also, it won't be a "limited production" item, but might be tough to get if demand outstrips production planning estimates. A few people have orders in for MSRP or as much as $1500 under, and some have received built date confirmations for mid to late July. The August Motor Trend will have a full road test, and it should be mailed out to subscribers in early July.

P.S. Dale - The car should be nearly as docile as the LS1, but they had to leave off the TV, refrigerator, and picnic table, because, as you know, the car lacks a back seat.:)
