On a more serious note than my last post: Ignoring how one determines what an "original" car is, the percentages will vary widely between the classes. I judge neither, but would expect more "original" cars in a 1978-82 class than a 1953-55 class.
NCRS does not make this kind of determination and no records are kept of these kinds of general values, so any answer you get is going to be a highly subjective one.
