I'm looking for the dimensions of the shifter alignment gauge for the 63-68 muncie transmission Corvette shifter. If anyone has one that they can measure, I can make the correct size. Thanks Don Ross

Don --- Here's the dimensions from one sold by Long Island. 3" long x 0.623" wide x 0.033" thick. The critical dimension is the width, as I believe the slot in the shift levers and bracket is exactly 5/8" wide. You could go thicker, but 1/8" might be the limit.- Top

In addition to what Wayne has given you, the individual dimensions are in each of the GM Chassis Service Manuals. I made mine out of thin aluminum stock that I picked up in a hardware store. I probably spen $5 on the stock and less than 20 minutes grinding and shaping the piece. It works quite well. Gary 21316 66 327/350- Top

Re: Shifter alignment gauge 63-68 Muncie
I made one myself out of a piece of metel in my garage. If the shifter is out of the car, I would recommend playing with it on the work bench and making a mark in the side once it is all the way in. Doing so will let you know from under the car while alining it, whether you have all the gears lined up. Good luck, it was no big deal.
