'62 Trunk

Can anybody open their trunk on their '62 and measure the distance from the top of the lid to the top of body @ center of car? To make the noise go away at full opening I adjusted the stops but it seems a little close now. I've got 27 1/4 inches. Thanks Terry Robertson

Terry from the top of the lid to the rain gutter (above the trunk lock) I got 30 and 3/4 hope this helps Phil 8063

Thanks Phil. The threads on the travel adjustment rods are making a noise,by adjusting it past the threads makes the noise go away but the clear space gets too tight. It had 30 1/2 before I adjusted them. Thanks again. Terry Robertson
