C2 Side Mirror?

Hi all,

Is there a way to tighten my 63 drivers door mirror or is it at the mercy of the wind at higher speeds? Are all inside and outside mirrors date coded? If so is it visible at close inspection?

There is a way to correct the problem it has been discussed several times. Try doiing a search in the archives.

all outside mirrors are date coded ,and only standard mirrors are dated on the inside. yes you can tighten your mirror all you have to do is remove the mirror glass retainer ,pull out the glass and i think there is a adjusting screw inside its been a while since ive had one apart.good luck. jim
