    C2 heater fan motor

    For the (one of a kind)63 fan motor, the hot (orange) wire from the harness connects to a capacitor which has a pigtail which connects to the motor. For the 64 and later motors, is a capacitor necessary, or does the hot wire from the harness connect directly to the connection on the motor?

    If you have a radio then you need an in-line capacitor for the blower motor. Assume you want it "correct". Check your AIM under option U69.

      The in-line capacitor was only used with the U69 (AM/FM) radio option. No capacitor was installed for '63 cars with U65 (AM Wonderbar) radio option or those that had no factory radio...
