I saw this today on EBAY [Item #140091074071] The seller is claiming this is a "63-66 NOS Corvette original knock-off wheel - RARE!!!" It's definately not an original knock-off wheel. It's definately a knock-off of a knock-off and perhaps rare. What's interesting is that, with the exception of the heading, you can't really say the seller is misrepresenting the item. He starts off by saying, "Here is a piece I never saw!!!" Well, OK, so what? How about, "The NCRS boys tell me its a real find!!!" Here we go again. Sure enough it's a find and more than likely, real. I have no reason to believe this guy is hullucinating. He might be accused of other things, but hullucinating, maybe not. I also love the disclaimer, "I have also been told it may be an early repro..." It is definately an early repro. I forget the name of the person who made these wheels, but I can tell you that they are exact replicas of the original, except for missing the Kelsey-Hayes embossing. Finally, as far as others hiding out there, I have three of them hiding in my garage. Enjoy reading this one, I got a kick out of it.
