C3 70 Wiper Door Won't Close

I worked cleaning the my engine compartment on my friend's 70 L46 and had to move some of the vacuum lines and now the wiper door won't close. The wipers wouldn't work at first and so I changed a line or two, and now they work but the door won't close. When I turn the car off, I can push it closed and it locks in place, but as soon as I start the car, it opens right up again. I know it got to be simple, I just can't figure out what I did.

Any suggestions out there for a poor, dumb Bubba? I would surely appreciate it.

Mark If you can tell me from what device or devices you moved vacuum lines from, I can try to help. I can also try to list what goes where from my car (70L46) if you give me a couple of hours to un burry it from my winter interior project... When the wiper stops and moves the arms to their PARK position, the RH arm contacts a vac switch. That vents vac from the wiper door actuator system allowing the door to close.

The vac switch is mounted in the wiper cowl using bolts through enlongaged screw holes to allow adjustment of the position of the switch relative to the RH wiper arm's park position. All of this is covered in the Chassis Service Manual...
