I recently purchased a '70 LT1 Holley list 4555 carburetor. It's GM part #3972121, dated 023. I'm curious if it retains it's stock metering blocks. The front metering block is stamped 6333 ,and the rear is stamped 4519. Are these the correct metering blocks for the carb? Thanks.
#6333 and #4519 are correct. #3972121 is correct as well. 023 is 3rd week of Feb. 1970. My 70 VIN 14803 has a 1st week of March 1970 date on the Holley.
Dan -- Service metering blocks had two sets of numbers stamped on them -- one of which will be the correct numbers you cite. So long as your metering blocks have only the numbers you mention -- you are good to go.
