Have read the not so good reviews on this board about certain aftermarket radioes for C1 Corvette's. Don't want to cut the opening so what others suggestions are there? Has anyone tried the KN brand? Bought kick panels with holes drilles already and have twin 4 inch speakers in the original top dash speaker opening. Now looking for a good am/fm radio for the dash. Will probably put the CD changer in the trunk.
Terry,
At a recent get-together a guy had a very nice 59 with a am/fm stero radio that was almost a dead ringer for a stock wonderbar radio. He said that it worked very well. It sounded pretty good so I have one on order. Their web site is www.radiosforoldcars.com and the phone # is 800-933-4926.

It would be worth it if it really sounds good, 45 watts of peak power boils down to about 17 watts of usable power per channel, not really enough to drive good speakers. On top of that for that kind of money I would want to hear it first.
