The hex top filler cap had cast into it "USE G-M-C BRAKE FLUID" ad it casting number "5300880".Did it also in 1958 have a "W" or "91" cast into the top of the cap?
There were several additional emboss marks on these caps like the 'W' and '91' you mention. I believe they relate to mfgr traceability (where built, specific mold the cap was cast in).
