I am in the process of fixing my 65's "air car itis" - the 12 guage high amp firewall connection to the fuseblock that fails. I discovered a connector coming directly from the fuse block that was stuffed behind the firewall insulation. It has four wires (approx 3 inches long) going to a three prong black triangular connector. The wires are one tan, one black with light blue tracer, and two (going to the same connector) that are black with a green tracer. The wiring is original, any ideas what this connector is for? Thanks, Don H.

Re: 65 wiring connector
Randy,
After the post I went back and dug deeper. I pulled off the dimmer switch plug trying to work on the fuse box. I printed out some previous posts on the subject of "air car itis". I replaced the original connector (on the 12 guage red wire) with a "barrel" type and it is not be visible. Thanks for the response, Don H.- Top
