C2 gaskets

Any opinions on outer door lock gaskets ,i know they did not have these from the factory ,also any opinions on using exhaust manifold gaskets ,and any experiance with the points lost, or not lost for these changes.thanks, jim

Each of those items are probably worth a point or two. It depends how much is encompassed in the particuliar catagory.....as the points are spread over the entire section judged under that line.

Jim -

Chevrolet never used exhaust manifold gaskets, and if your manifolds aren't warped, you shouldn't have any leak problems without gaskets. For some reason, the gasket companies just can't resist including them in gasket kits.
