C2, Holley Carb Date Code Help

After receiving the input from you guys on where to have my original carburetor rebuilt for my C2 built in December of 66 with a 300 hp automatic. I went to take a look at the date code on the carburetor I took off the engine many years ago. To my surprise it was Holley 3810, but the date code was 824?? After researching the judging guide the code on my carburetor does not match .

Does anybody have any idea what an 824 code represents? 1968 Factory replacement?
How many points would I lose in judging if I used this carburetor, coded 824 versus finding something with a code like 682?
Does anybody have an idea what I should pay a Carb to rebuild with the proper date code?

Re: C2, Holley Carb Date Code Help

I lost 8 points out of a possible 40 at the Florida Regional for the 3811 carb on my 390 HP 67, due to incorrect date code. Thats about 0.17% point loss. I've seen dated carbs in excess of $900 advertised. I'd look for more cost effective items to recover points.
