    C3 interior PROJECT

after many months of preparation i am ready to put the interior back in my
1970 convertible. the insulation is fastened to the firewall, pedals are hung,
heater is back in place. windshield is out of the car. what is the best sequence to follow ? i was going to start with the fuse panel then work
toward the lower dash panel and small gage panel then to the console.
should the carpeting be installed first? any tips from experience that would make this job easier will be most appreciated. thanks.

    Re: C3 interior PROJECT

    Ray,
Your sequence seems logical and is the way I put my 71 back together- except that I waited to put the carpet in untill the dash and console were complete and tested. You do have to work at getting the carpet tucked up and smooth under the sides of the console. I then installed the hard plastic trim pieces.
Be very careful planning and cutting the carpet to mount the seat tracks.
