Engine ID Chevrolet

Can any one tell me the HP or CID of this engine? The following numbers were found on the back of the engine on an attached tag, Stock #72648, engine code 5447B. The stamp on the pad T0623T0A I think it is a 1963 year modle. Thanks, Jimmy

I can't find a TOA suffix in my lists. Even looking at something close, I find TCA is a 307 in 1973 bus and a 305 in 1982 conversion van or bus.

The three digit codes -- TOA -- didn't start until 1970 model year. The T stands for truck.

Check the engine casting date, and I'll look it up for you. Without the year of build it is too difficult to look up in the Chevrolet lists.
