I was told there is a difference between windshield posts on 56 to 62 cars. I always thought they were the same. Is there a difference and if there is can someone explain the difference, or possibly post a picture of the differences. Thanks for any help.

Hi Roy, I read your article on the door posts and I believe I understand the differences, I even printed out the great sheet you made explaining them. But now my confusion is I can see a difference in the side windshield posts and I wonder what is correct?Comment

I did have pic's years ago when I held seminars showing the differences but no more, I've settled on my 55 and lost info for others years. Many of use old timers have done this ( cant keep it all in our minds). Don't understand why some one today don't do an article on them. Many people have a mixture of door post on thier Corvette and I don't think judges pay much attention about it. That's why people have that problem aligning the windshields post. It seem so many thing again are argued about that was known years ago. The C1's are so simple but for the arguing over the engines options and pad stamping. That is another reason I stay with my 55 few care or know anything about them. Good luck!Comment
