    Head gaskets

What is the recommended head gasket for use on the new ZL-1 alum block with GM alum heads? Fel Pro Permatorque Blue, copper, etc??????? Compression will be under 10:1 and engine will be street driven, not abused.

    Thanks,
    Rex

GM #12363414 or any composition gasket

with a preflattened copper wire ring so not to brinnell the head surface.

My choice is Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS). However, these are expensive (about $100/each). Otherwise, the gaskets that clem mentioned are fine. They're also known as Fel-Pro #1027. These are about $50/each.
