Where is the best place to purchase a reproduction of the delco Energizer R59S? Also what point deduction will you receive if you install a correct reproduction battery versus putting something else in?

Flight scoring rules for battery are listed in your copy of the NCRS Judging Reference Manual, Section 4, Rule 2.

Section 4, Standard Deductions, Rule 2, Batteries:

"No Originality Deduction: Original or original design reproduciton (indiscernible as installed) Delco as described in judging manual with, if applicable, appropriate plant and date stamp for the vehicle.

Table of Originality Deductions:

* Deduct 10%--Battery appearing as above but with no appropriate plant or date stamping, if applicable.

* Deduct 30%--Reproductions differeing from original design and construction in minor detail.

* Deduct 50%--Delco, correctly sized, service replacement with appropriate top or side post configuration.

* Deduct 100%--Originality & Condition for others.

I did place an order for the manual a couple of days ago and if everything goes right will see it in a few weeks. Thank you for your assistance. Did not want to spend a great deal of money if there wasn't enough bang for the buck.
