I have a '67 with the two holes in the rear deck for a hardtop, so I bought a hardtop. What mates the hardtop to the two holes? I see front clamps and side bolts, but the only thing on the hardtop that matches (I guess they match, since I'm waiting on new weatherstrip and can't trial fit it yet) the location of the holes is a slotted piece of metal attached to the hardtop. What else do I need? (I'm new here, so don't laugh)

Re: C2 hardtop
Check out just about any of the Corvette parts catalogs. You'll see you need two bolts that hold the side of the HT to the rear deck lid + bolts, nuts, washers that attach the rear lower edge of the HT to the deck lid. The rear bolts have a hollow core that takes a special plastic bumper (prevents accidental scratching). All are off-the-shelf reproduction items...- Top

Re: C2 hardtop
Larry,
There is a special bolt that slides into the slot on the hardtop, with a rubber tip, nut and flat washer, that goes through the chrome ferrule w/ gasket in the holes. There is also a rubber washer used with the bolt when the hardtop is not in place to supposedly seal the hole to the ferrule (they always leak anyhow). You may already have the chrome ferrules in place.
Take a look at page 93 of the Corvette Central catalog and you will find all the things you need. There are probably other vendor catalogs which have the same stuff as kits.

Re: C2 hardtop
The bolts have a Pan head with tapered edges and a square boss under the head to engage the slot in the hard top so you can tighten the nuts from inside the car when the hard top is on. The orig. bolts do not have any head mark and do not have tool marks. The replacements that GM made have a Capital R on them. Before you buy look at the bolts The ferrel in the deck lid has a gasket under it but most of the time if the car has ever been repainted they were never put back. Buy two sets one to leave in the hard top and one set to put in deck lid when the top is off. Under neeth I use an "O" ring with a flat washer and then the kelp nut. The kelp nuts have a built in lock washer.- Top
