At a dealer meeting in 69 there was a Silver 69 Z28 on display with Blue Streak tires on it. They were the speedway type. Joe Pike asked if we wanted that car after they were done with it but we turned it down. It was to come with the blue steaks on it. It did look nice. Also in 63 you could actually order a full size Chevrolet with chrome wheels and dog dish hubcaps. RPO not a COPO kinda thing. I wanted a set for my 63 409 so ordered a plain jane SS with them on it and swapped them out. I made up a set of spinner dog dish caps with 57 spinners on them instead of the factory small hubcaps that came with the wheels. Those were the days!

If you should come across a set of real BlueStreak Sports Car Specials with the T3 tread design be VERY CAREFUL if you dirve them on the road. They can only be mounted one way and they are horrible in slippery conditions.

Rex, I would guess that there would not be sufficient demand to reproduce the bluestreaks since they are not correct for judging. BTW I must of had at least 50 people comment on the tires at Vettefest saying they had not seen a set for many years. Thanks to all for the compliments on my car.
